West Geauga Chamber Congratulates West Geauga Local Schools on Earning 5-Star Rating Across All Categories
The West Geauga Chamber of Commerce extends its warmest congratulations to West Geauga Local Schools for earning top honors on the 2025–2026 State Report Card released by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce[2].
West Geauga achieved an overall 5-Star Rating and achieved the extraordinary distinction of being the only school district in Ohio to earn a 5-Star Rating across every single performance category:
- Achievement
- Progress
- Gap Closing
- Early Literacy
- Graduation
- College, Career, Workforce and Military Readiness
Out of 607 public school districts across Ohio, West Geauga ranked 13th statewide with a Performance Index of 108.9 and achieved an overall Star Rating Points score of 4.813.
"Achieving a 5-star rating in every single category is an extraordinary distinction," shared Superintendent Dr. Nancy Benincasa. "These results reflect the relentless work of our students, the expertise and care of our staff, and the unwavering support of our families and community."
