Job Qualifications
The
Behavior
Technician
position
at
the
Proactive
Behavior
ABA
Clinic
in
Chesterland
requires
clinical
skills,
instruction,
and
behavior
reduction
protocols
for
children
with
autism
and
other
developmental
disabilities.
The
Practice
provides
a
paid
40-hour
training
to
meet
requirements
towards
becoming
a
Registered
Behavior
Technician
(RBT).
Behavior
Technicians
work
directly
with
clients
with
a
focus
on:
-
Changing
client
behavior
by
observing
and
measuring
behavior
in
real-life
environments.
-
Collecting
data
to
track
progress
under
the
supervision
of
the
Case
BCBA.
-
Implementing
learning
programs
(e.g.,
communication,
self-help,
play
skills).
-
Documenting
each
session
thoroughly,
in
a
timely
manner,
and
in
accordance
with
established
organizational
procedures.
-
Maintaining
respect
and
confidentiality
for
all
clients.
-
Initiating
and
maintaining
a
daily
clean
and
sanitized
clinical
environment
by
performing
tasks
such
as
disinfecting
client
rooms.
-
Being
open
and
willing
to
collaborate
with
team
members
with
a
focus
on
the
best
interest
of
clients.
